The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old city near lively cafes and the beautiful church. Breakfast exceeded expectations, featuring a delightful variety of options and freshly brewed coffee. But most of all, the reception staff made my experience memorable. they were not only helpful but charming and engaging, which made traveling alone a joy.

beautiful mountain and cityscape views, unique historical charm and décor, easy access to public transport for castle visits
Inadequate cleanliness in rooms with dirty carpets!!! No elevator service to help with heavy luggage!!! Noise disturbances from nightlife made it tough to rest, especially as a light sleeper!!!

Stunning views from the double room kept me in awe, especially early in the morning. The location is unbeatable, right at the Marktplatz with easy access to the Bergbahn and all major attractions within a five-minute walk. Staff were very helpful, particularly when I needed assistance with my luggage up the stairs. Breakfast had a nice selection, including fresh coffee and cooked eggs, which I appreciated. However, I faced a few inconveniences. The lack of air conditioning was noticeable during my stay due to the heat wave. On top of that, I did encounter some noise from the surrounding nightlife, which made it challenging to fall asleep at times. Additionally, getting a taxi to the train station became problematic as the day clerk wasn’t very accommodating. Overall, while the hotel has charm and character, improvements in comfort and staff responsiveness would go a long way.

The breakfast was solid, with a good spread that fueled our adventures, and we enjoyed stashing our bikes in a secure area—definitely a bonus! The hotel also offers a nice terrace and cozy lounge for unwinding after a long day. The shower had a few quirks, but it didn't spoil our good time. 😊
